What is the Project Management or Bullying event all about?
In a paper presented at the PMI® Global Congress 2015—EMEA in 2015, PaulPelletier and Michael O’Brochta presented a paper called Project bullies: what can you do? In the paper, they note that xxx % of people are bullied in the work place. The paper goes on to explore the impact of workplace bullying on projects, noting a reduction in innovation, performance and opportunity cost. Then of course there are the impacts of bullying on the victims themselves.
The PMO can play a crucial role in preventing and stamping out bullying and has a clear responsibility to do so.
In this evening meetup, Susan Schneider. Managing Director at Managed Outcomes Pty Ltd draws on her experience of working across a project and programs in multiple sectors to explore different clients behavior examples, negotiating techniques and industry examples of successful people behavior management approaches.
